An allergies expert from Opole has become the first Polish doctor to join the prestigious international Urticaria Center of Reference and Excellence (UCARE).

Dr. Zenon Brzoza from the University Clinical Hospital (USK) was admitted after receiving an international certificate or reference and excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of skin allergies: angioedema and urticaria.

The certification awarded in June 2020 and coordinated by the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, allowed the Opole hospital to join a group of several dozen centres in the world that conduct medical and scientific activities in the field of skin allergies. (PAP)
